However, there are many other wood decking material options available such as Ipe, otherwise known as Brazilian hardwood, western red cedar, tiger wood decking just to name a few.

Just because you choose to use wood decking as your preferred flooring option, doesn’t necessarily mean you have to use wood railings. It’s a great cost saving measure to do a mixed use of wood decking and an alternative lower maintenance railing options such as vinyl, aluminum or wood railings with round or square aluminum balusters. Cable railings have become quote popular but can get quite expensive.
