Screen Porch Before and After

Transcripts

Welcome back folks. Here we are over in Edgewater, Maryland. We just completed a screen porch. It’s about 14X16 screen porch, has a gable roof, it’s screened in. All the soffits and everything are all wrapped in aluminum gutters. This one had a tricky roof line on. It’s kind of hard to see from this angle, but we actually tied this back into an existing sloped roof, which required a little bit of complicated framing, but it all worked out really well.

We used Azek brown stone decking as you can see here going up the steps. And notice that once again we made the steps a little bit extra wide, just makes it a lot easier for two way traffic. Turned out exceptionally well. Customer’s extremely pleased with the project.

In a second here we’ll go ahead and walk up on the inside the porch and shoot a couple shots from in there. Hang on, we’ll be right back.

Welcome back. Here we are inside the screened porch. Notice the brownstone decking Azek. Azek’s been a pretty good performer in decking, very few issues with it. A nice Anderson full view screen door. We did the double-two. Ceiling closed in. Customer picked out a beautiful ceiling fan, goes with the room really, really well and done an exceptional job on decorating it.

This is what we’d like to see, people enjoying their outdoor environment. This is a neat thing and a lot of people are adding these now, which is a flat screen TV on the porch. What more could you ask for, watching football on a nice fall day, hanging out on the screened porch with your family and friends.

Well I appreciate your time and we’ll be doing some more videos and look forward to talking to you soon. Thank you.
